Eliminate Department of Education

The Project 2025 Mandate for Leadership calls for the complete abolition of the federal Department of Education. This would transfer all education policy authority to individual states, eliminate federal student loan programs, end Title I funding, and remove federal oversight of educational civil rights protections.
